COEd stands 2nd in Intrams ‘09
THE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (COED) proved not only can they teach inside the four walls of the classroom but can also excel in sports activities as they grabbed 38 gold, 27 silver and 35 bronze medals and ranked 2nd over-all champion in this year’s Intramural held last August 31 to September 4 at BulSU gymnasium and Bulacan Sports Complex (BSC). The College of Physical Education, Recreation and Sports (COPERS) placed 1st and over-all champion while the College of Information Communication Technology (CICT) situated at the 3rd place. “Without COPERS, para sa akin, champion pa rin ang COEd. Kasi, sila [COPERS], doon na sila magaling. Noong wala pa sila, lagi tayong first. We always aim to be the first. Kaya[sana] sa susunod, maging first na tayo,” commented dean Luzviminda Tantoco in an interview. “[Sa] moral at financial assistance, suportado ang COEd. We even solicited to students para sa kanilang foods at uniforms. Ever since, ginagawa na natin ‘to,” added Tantoco as regards the players of the college.
