ASAP launches photography contest

The Alliance of Students for Action and Progress (ASAP) initiated a photography contest last November 16 in front of Natividad Hall. The said photography contest, with the theme “A-wakening S-earch for A-ction and P-rogress”, was organized to inform the BulSU administration about the necessary improvements of the university in all aspects.

“Hand in hand naman ang communication ng ASAP at admin so we can show them freely kung ano ang nakita ng mga students about things na kailangan baguhin,” said Albert Oloroza, ASAP treasurer and organizer of the said event.

Prizes await the best student protographers: Php 1500 for best Action photo, Php 1500 for best Progress photo, and Php 500 for Students’ Choice.

“Ang mga picture ay tungkol sa mga dapat aksyunan hindi lang ng admin [kundi] maging ng mga estudyante, at [ito rin ang mga] pictures ng mga bagay sa BulSU na tingin nila [ay] may pag-unlad,” added Oloroza.

The said contest is open to all colleges in the campus. Photos should be submitted before November 27 and will be exhibited on December 2. (Ruth Gladyz B. De Guzman)
