 Photo from http://macabebes.multiply.com Bulacan State University (BulSU) celebrated Organizations Day for the second time last July 29 at the university gymnasium with the theme “Leading Towards a Borderless Society”. The program started with a parade of all official student organizations in the campus and those from Meneses, Sarmiento and Bustos campuses. Kapisanan ng mga Mag-aaral sa Araling Panlipunan (KAPIMAPA) of the College of Education (COEd) was chosen by the Student Government (SG) as the most outstanding organization in the whole campus followed by Alpha Phi Omega (APO) Fraternity and Student Bible Readers Society (BREAD) respectively. Bulacan Governor Joselito “Jon-jon” Mendoza, the guest speaker of the event, awarded Php 10,000 to each of the said organization and emphasized the roles of a leader in organizations as such and their importance to the society. “A leader should be a role model to their members to be a good example,” Mendoza concluded.
