I don't know if The Mentors people get Pagtalunan's exact statement, but you'll notice that he didn't even bother to finish his sentence in straight English, and yes, he's promoting the English only policy.

And oh, did Bullet asked if Faculty members are covered by this initiative?
Isn't that supposed to start with them?
And E* Circle and LSC have the power to *monitor and take control?*

I find it very odd, scrap that, funny that Joseph Pagtalunan, the exact person pushing to "enhance" English "proficiency" among COEd students can't finish one simple sentence in English. Taglish only policy, anybody? That's just stupid.

Does the LSC even check if all classes supposed to be taught in English (English, Math, Science) are compliant?

Is there any way of measuring the "enhancements" after a certain period of time? And, will the Faculty be covered by the same initiative?

As educators they should have thought of this project thoroughly. They should know that there must be certain stimuli that motivates people, conditioning I think it's called. What's there to stop COEd students from using their first language? What motivation do they have to speak English? The fear of being "rebuked"? I don't think so. This is just moronic.
