Bulacan State Univerity (BulSU) President Mariano De Jesus banned all sports activities in college weeks conducted in the main campus.

De Jesus affirmed his temporarily banning, though without release of formal memorandum, because of the venue problem and the disturbance of class hours. He also declared that college week celebrations are still possible without the sports activities.

However, Luzviminda Tantoco, College of Education (COEd) dean, said that the college is not really affected because COEd week is usually held concomitantly with the foundation week which is celebrated every December.

“Hindi apektado ang COEd dahil sa foundation week naman tayo nagse-celebrate ng week,” Tantoco confirmed.

Meanwhile, Student Government (SG) President Ernest Timothy Flores said that the activity center located in front of the Alvarado Hall is currently under construction while the gymnasium will also undergo development so the venues are not really available to conduct such activities.
