Student Government holds Quizayahan ‘08
 Through the efforts of Bianca Mikaela D.L. Espeleta, president of Student Government (SG) and its officials, Quizayahan ‘08 was held at the Students’ Park last August 26, 2008 prior to the celebration of Bulucan State University (BulSU) Intramurals. Students from different colleges and institutions in BulSU participated in the event, as well as the students from Sarmiento and Meneses campuses. The College of Education bagged fifth place, Laboratory High School was the fourth placer, College of Industrial Technology got the third place, Sarmiento campus was the second placer, and the champion of the event was the College of Engineering. “Noong una talaga eh quizbowl lang dapat na sa loob ng officers magaganap, kung saan may pinakamahirap na mga tanong dun and then naisipan namin na bakit hindi na lang gawing open sa lahat”, Espeleta said. “Quizayahan kasi hindi lang siya mahirap na mga tanong kundi may mga challenges pa na dapat gawin bago makuha iyong tanong”, she added when asked about the meaning of quizayahan. It is not yet sure if there would be another quizayahan on the next celebration of Intramurals, according to her, “depende pa rin sa assessment namin ‘yun kung mas marami ang strenghts kaysa weaknesses.
